Listics
Coming soon on the App Store

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Who we are

This policy covers the Listics iPhone app and this website. The app is provided by [Legal entity name], [Postal address] ("we", "us"). You can reach us at goosetechnology.development@gmail.com.

Data that stays on your device

Listics stores the following only on your device:

  • Your shopping lists, stores, products and categories
  • Prices, notes and purchase details
  • Spending targets and your settings
  • Product photos you take with the in-app camera

We have no accounts, no login and no server that receives this data, so we cannot see it, access it or recover it for you.

Optional analytics and crash reports

The only data that can leave your device is optional, anonymous usage and crash data, handled by Google Firebase (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics).

This is off by default. Listics asks you during onboarding and nothing is collected unless you say yes. You can change your choice at any time in Settings, and a single switch controls both analytics and crash reports.

When it is on, analytics describe how the app is used: which screens you open, which actions you take (for example creating or closing a list, searching, exporting), and counts of things, together with the app version, device and operating system information, and crash logs.

This data is used only to understand how the app is used and to fix problems. It is not used for advertising: ad storage and ad personalization are denied, we do not use advertising identifiers, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and the app does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Google acts as our service provider and processes this data on our behalf. For how Google handles it, see Firebase privacy information.

No selling, no sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share personal information with third parties. Apart from the optional Firebase data described above, nothing leaves your device through Listics.

Camera

Listics asks for camera access only so you can take photos of products. The photos are saved on your device. Listics does not access your photo library.

Exporting your data

You can export your data as a CSV file. This only happens when you ask for it, and you choose where the file goes (for example Files, Mail or another app). Once you share it, the place you chose is responsible for it.

Device backups

Backups made by Apple (iCloud) or by you (for example through Finder) may include the app's data, depending on your device settings. These backups are controlled by you and Apple, not by us, and we cannot see them.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your device until you delete it. Deleting the app deletes its local data. The data-retention setting in Settings only hides older lists from view; it does not delete them.

Because we do not hold your lists or photos, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. If you turned on analytics, you can turn it off in Settings at any time.

Your rights

Laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give people rights over their personal data, such as access, correction and deletion. Because we hold no personal data about you in our own systems, there is generally nothing for us to give you access to or delete. If you have questions about your data, or want to know what applies to you, email us at the address below and we will do our best to help.

Children

Listics is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Australian users

This section applies if you are in Australia and adds to the rest of this policy.

Listics does not send your lists, prices, photos or other content off your device. The only information that can leave your device is the optional analytics and crash data described above, and only if you turn it on.

If you turn analytics on, that data is processed by Google (Firebase). Google may process it outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where Google operates. You choose whether to turn analytics on, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.

Access and correction: we hold no personal information about you in our own systems, so there is usually nothing to access or correct. You can ask us at any time what we hold, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints: if you think we have mishandled your personal information, email us and we will acknowledge your complaint and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if the app changes how it handles data. We will change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
